Worship at Yearly Meeting

We invite you to come with hearts and minds prepared for worship and with a commitment to help make our time together Spirit-led. There will be many opportunities to worship together: early morning worship, worship with attention to business, evening worship, special worship sessions, worship sharing, men's and women's evening worship, and meeting for remembrance.

Saturday Morning there will be a Meeting for Worship for Remembrance, to remember those we miss.

Worship Sharing
We have held worship sharing during our annual sessions for many years as a means of coming to know each other in that which is Eternal. For many people it is one of the highlights of Yearly Meeting. We hope that this year's worship sharing will continue in that tradition and further serve to ground us in worship as we go forth during our time together.

Friends who want to participate in worship sharing are encouraged to check the designated space on the registration form. Groups and locations will be posted in the registration area and near the dining room. All participants are invited to stay in worship as we listen to each other's experience of and understanding of the queries.

Worship sharing is also a chance to reflect together on our conference theme. Testimonies from Creation: Savoring the S.P.I.C.E. in all Life: S = simplicity, P = peace, I = integrity, C = community, and E = equality

Thursday queries:
o Early Friends did not start out with testimonies, what is your understanding of how/why they came into being?
o In what ways do you find the testimonies speak to your daily life?

Friday queries:
o How do you find Divine guidance in the testimonies?
o In what ways are the testimonies part of your spiritual life?

Saturday queries:
o How has your understanding of the testimonies changed as you move along in your spiritual journey?
o How can paying attention to the world of nature deepen our understanding of our testimonies?
